This is a full-time position.

Office hours: M-Th 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, F 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

36.5h/week


JOB OVERVIEW

The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative support. The Executive Assistant assures excellence in the execution of administrative tasks, meets deadlines, solves problems quickly, protects confidentiality, and communicates with members, staff and the community in a way that reflects the mission, vision and values of University Christian Church. Flexibility, organization, a good sense of humor and the ability to effectively work with a diversity of people is essential.


In addition to Senior Leadership support, the Executive Assistant provides support for governance groups at UCC which includes the Board of Stewards, Elders, Deacons and other leadership groups.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Administrative Support

  • Coordinate and organize daily office activities and direct the workflow within the Senior Leadership office.
  • Maintain senior office information in a confidential manner.
  • Coordinate and manage the Senior Leadership calendar for appointments, meetings and travel. Receive and direct guests.
  • Organize and schedule special trip arrangements as needed.
  • Provide hospitality support, accommodations and logistics for meetings, events, guests and programs hosted by the Senior Leadership.
  • Schedule events and reserve resources on the church calendar.
  • Manage budgeted expenses, review monthly budget reports, and submit forms for reimbursement.
  • Assist in front desk coverage on a rotating basis as part of the Admin Team.
  • Provide administrative support to the Board of Stewards, Assembly, CLG, Elders and Deacons.
  • Provide administrative support to other committees that the Senior Leadership serves on.

Qualifications:

Completion of High School required.

3+ years of administrative support experience

Executive support experience is a plus

Non-profit experience is a plus
