Job Title: Human Resources Analyst and Payroll Specialist

Location: Gastonia, North Carolina (30 min from Charlotte, and 30 min from Clover, SC)

Role Overview:

The Human Resources Analyst and Payroll Specialist will play a pivotal role in our HR transformation. This individual will oversee payroll with a strategic focus on trend analysis and insights, strengthen employee relations through an approachable and supportive demeanor, and contribute to building an HR team dedicated to engagement and project success. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and has extensive HRIS experience, coupled with a desire to support a dynamic cultural shift.


Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Administration: Process payroll accurately and on time, create payroll reports, and design charts to visualize payroll data. Identify and analyze trends to provide actionable insights that support our restructuring goals.
  • HRIS Management: Maintain and enhance HRIS for accuracy, efficiency, and ease of use. Train the team on new or improved HRIS features as needed, supporting our mission for streamlined, data-driven HR functions.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a supportive resource for employees and management, handling HR concerns professionally and confidentially to foster trust and openness in the workplace.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate insightful reports on key HR metrics, helping leadership make data-driven decisions that align with our cultural transformation objectives.
  • Team Building & Engagement: Assist in building a high-performing HR team that is committed to our new cultural values of engagement, accountability, and proactive follow-through.
  • Project Management: Oversee and follow up on HR initiatives to ensure projects align with broader restructuring goals, supporting our journey toward a more collaborative and accountable work environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in payroll management, including report creation, data analysis, and trend visualization.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and approachable personality for effective employee relations.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience building and fostering an HR team, with a focus on engagement, accountability, and alignment with organizational culture.
  • Critical thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
