Main Objective of Job


Outside Sales Representative (OCTG) is responsible for promoting OFS International (OFSi) services/products, driving sales to reach their full potential and managing the services sales lifecycle from proposal to delivery. Ensure client-servicing requirements are meeting or exceeding the client's expectations while building a strong client relationship to become the preferred supplier of choice.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Successfully generate OFSi's services / products sales, achieving and frequently exceeding assigned quota.
  • Coordinate customer service and develop relationship with key decision makers at all distributors and end use customers, from initial discussions to close of deal.
  • Work with sales, technical sales and production to identify potential companies to promote our products, tools and services.
  • Develop and implement market strategies to grow OFSi and its subsidiaries business to optimum profitability and capacity levels at all locations and any new facilities.
  • Create services opportunities, managing pursuits and closing deals.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts for each facility and updates monthly.
  • Develop and coordinate with sales and finance and management team standardized pricing structures that optimize gross margins while remaining competitive in the marketplace.
  • Manage long term and strategic customer relationships
  • Proactively anticipate customer’s needs and resolve customer issues
  • Write and submit weekly sales reports, including key market intelligence, and updated monthly bookings and shipments.
  • Maintain a high visual image in industry associations and maintain industry contacts with suppliers, contractors and transportation companies.
  • Develop and maintain a database of present industry accounts, potential new accounts, inquiry quotations, sales history and other relevant information.
  • Work with finance on invoicing, credit or other issues
  • Work with plant management to determine plant capabilities & which products provide the best throughput and optimum profits.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure timely delivery of material for use in making OFSi's products
  • Ensures each facility implements accurate reporting of transactions and sales orders in a timely manner in system(s).
  • Attend trade shows or other industry events to promote OFSi's Products and Services.
  • Make presentations to existing and potential customers to highlight OFSi's services capabilities as needed.
  • Negotiate contract with customers: discuss service and product features, credit terms, provide price quotation
  • Maintain customer accounts: Coordinate with customer service for status on orders to ensure delivery commitments to customers are met.
  • Increase customer satisfaction and retention
  • Develop a strong revenue backlog, account planning and account development.


The Company’s business is to provide quality services and products to its customers. The position is responsible for quality control, as well as the sustainment and development of working relationships with customers. Coordinates communication between the customer, manufacturing, and the management team. Timely and frequent contact with customers and manufacturing make this a critical position for monitoring and improving The Company’s quality and performance.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required

● Bachelor of Science in Business, Engineering or other related field or a combination of education and related experience.

● Incumbent must have a minimum of 5 years outside sales or client service experience

● An in-depth knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry and customer base

● Excellent team building, conflict resolution, problem solving skills and superior communication

● Proficient Computer Skills – ERP, Excel, Word, Power Point

●Knowledge of machining of premium connections and accessories -desirable
