Job Overview

SAGE Rental Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for processing rental requests from our Outside Sales team and directly from customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in customers and callers, addressing their sales and technical inquiries.
    • Route calls to the appropriate personnel and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
    • Offer product demonstrations to customers as requested.
    • Estimate delivery dates to customers based on knowledge of our production and delivery schedules.
    • Act as a liaison between customers and other operations to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded, maintaining a positive reputation for future business.
  • Administrative Duties
    • Emphasize salable features, quote prices, and credit terms; prepare sales orders for transactions obtained by the Outside Sales team.
    • Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to maintain accurate account activities and literature.
    • Stay knowledgeable about company products, inventory, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
    • Dispatch service calls as required and maintain accurate call logs.
    • Formulate bids on new and existing jobs and projects.
    • Assume responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the branch in the absence of a Branch Manager.
    • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
  • High school diploma or GED with some college coursework.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and effectively interact with various individuals.
  • One to three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or customer service experience.
  • Technical/computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office and rental industry software.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to foster excellent customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage workflow in a timely and consistent manner, working well in a team environment.
  • Strong recordkeeping and document control skills to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Adherence to company workplace safety guidelines and environmental standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Combination of education and customer service experience.
  • Three to five years of experience; rental industry experience is highly desirable.
