Outside Sales Representative

Reports to: Sales Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday with on-call required

Pay: Salaried Position from $36,000/Year plus commission

Job description

  • This position is a sales position with an established sales territory and customer list.
  • Resolve customer questions and offer solutions to complaints to increase company revenue.
  • Responsible for maintenance and care of current customer accounts as well as developing new business from leads and cold calls.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline and submit reporting required by Manager.
  • Set follow-up appointments and create sales material to keep customers aware of the latest developments.
  • Company vehicle provided (Some overnight travel required.)

Qualifications

  • High degree of integrity and ability to quickly develop customer relationships required
  • Demonstrated ability to use personal productivity enhancing tools, including laptop computers, spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail, and contact management software
  • Must have excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills.
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Pre-employment drug testing, valid and clear Texas driver’s license and required background checks.

Experience:

  • Sales: 1-2 years’ experience preferably with Industrial product sale
