We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, observant, and committed to ensuring that projects stay on track. You will work closely with a Senior Project Manager and Agile Coach, supporting the successful delivery of projects by handling key administrative and coordination tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Task Tracking: Monitor and track the progress of project tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and flagging any potential delays.
  • Log Updates: Maintain and update project logs, including risk registers, issue logs, and action items, ensuring all project documentation is current and accurate.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule follow-up meetings, check-ins, and other project-related gatherings. Ensure all stakeholders are informed and meetings are scheduled at convenient times for all parties.
  • Meeting Coordination: Prepare agendas, invite participants, and ensure all necessary materials are available for meetings.
  • Note Taking and Documentation: Attend project meetings, take detailed and accurate notes, and distribute meeting minutes to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Communication: Act as a communication link between different project teams, ensuring that information flows smoothly and that all team members are aligned on project objectives and timelines.
  • Support to Senior Project Manager and Agile Coach: Provide administrative and logistical support to the Senior Project Manager and Agile Coach as required, assisting in the implementation of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a Junior PM or project coordination or administrative role, ideally within a project management or Agile environment.
  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, JIRA, Excel).
  • Understanding of Retail/Fashion CPG industry and Demand Planning would be helpful.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies is beneficial.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Hourly contract rate range of $40.00 to $50.00 based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
