The Company:
A global Engineering company focusing on power utility networks, Transmission and Distribution, substations & renewable energy. Significant investment into regional expansion and the increasing focus on utility customers has created the need to appoint a Vice President and General manager to accelerate the business plan.
The Role:
- General management and full P&L responsibility
- Leadership to sales, engineering and operations teams in the region, grow, mentor and develop team.
- Set vision and 3-5 year strategy, execute plan to drive revenue increase and capture market share,
- Drive 20% year-on-year growth – through organic actions and leading on M&A targets
- Drive Change, Transformation and elevate success
- Report to Global Executive Management team
The Person
The successful candidate will likely have:
- Bachelor’s / Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, + MBA
- 3+ years experience leading P&L $200m+, leading sales teams selling MV and HV equipment for IOU power utilities.
- Proven experience in software and digitisation for MV & HV Networks, selling products and solutions for system design and Technology specification (Substations, Substation Automation, SCADA, Software, & Digital future networks).
- An extensive network within target Utilities, Industrial & renewable energy segment senior management teams
- Be able to drive change, Engage customers, motivate and inspire teams to success.
Due to the dynamic growth and accelerated build of a regional organisation your progression opportunities will be limited only by your desire to succeed as there is a real opportunity to take on Executive Vice President role in 2-3 years.
