Position Overview:

Join us as a HVDC Service Contract Manager and be at the forefront of a pioneering HVDC offshore service agreement in the US. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects in the Grid Technologies Service Team, supporting North America’s transition to FACTS, HVDC, and renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and battery storage. Your role will span from the offer phase through to execution, making a significant impact on the future of energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales proposals and cost models for Grid Technologies Service projects, focusing on HVDC Service contracts.
  • Create, edit, and write original proposal responses and other sales-related documents.
  • Collaborate with the global team in Germany to prepare comprehensive bid packages.
  • Validate and endorse technical aspects of the proposed solutions.
  • Act as the primary contact and leader for all aspects of the service agreement.
  • Coordinate planned service activities, including corrective and preventive maintenance for covered systems and equipment.
  • Maintain communication with the customer’s operations and maintenance manager and handle regulatory compliance reporting.
  • Manage service agreement review meetings and address key issues and technical support needs.
  • Oversee spare part inventory, document version control, and site logistics.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain and new business units to manage warranty claims and share project lessons learned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in construction, engineering, estimating, contract management, or client relations within the Transmission Sector. Experience with FACTS or HVDC Service contracts is essential.
  • Proven track record in managing large service programs and handling contracts valued at $5M or more.
  • Experience with setting up and implementing self-perform work is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel as required for site visits.
