Business Development Manager

Position Overview:
This is a full-time inside sales position dedicated to managing retail and wholesale electricity sales in ERCOT through various channel sales relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, including brokers and agents.
- Create and nurture strong relationships with channel partners, providing them with the training, feedback, coaching and support necessary for their success.
- Assist with the development and implementation of a comprehensive channel sales strategy and processes aligned with the company's overall sales and growth objectives.
- Assist with the creation of sales forecasts, budgets and performance metrics.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and customer preferences to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement within Ammper, including its product offerings.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the electricity industry, including market dynamics, regulatory changes and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate internally with all functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and fulfillment of all customers’ contract requirements.
- Meet or beat sales goals consistently.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or sufficient experience in lieu of education.
- Proven track record of successful channel sales management in ERCOT.
- Strong understanding of the electricity industry, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics; ability to transform this understanding into marketable value propositions for channel sales partners and end-use customers alike.
Experience Level Requirement: Advanced Level
Pay: Competitive annual salary + commission
