ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Compliance Manager for a large non-profit in Seattle that provides housing and healthcare to those in need. This would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in compliance looking to further their career in healthcare and non-profit industries

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive compliance programs that address healthcare regulations as well as broader organizational compliance needs
  • Conduct research and stay up to date with applicable regulations, including healthcare specific compliance requirements
  • Create a compliance calendar that schedules regular training, audits, and monitors activities department wide
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to design and update training programs, tailoring programs to the specific needs of each group
  • Maintain records of compliance activities, such as audits, training, and corrective actions
  • Communicates compliance updates, expectations, and requirements clearly across all levels of the organization


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, with experience in both healthcare and broader organizational compliance
  • Familiarity with compliance management software and tools, with a basic understanding of IT security.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare law as well as general regulatory frameworks governing non-healthcare operations.
  • Proven experience in crisis management and handling compliance-related incidents.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in compliance documentation and reporting.



BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Membership in relevant professional organizations such as the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) or similar is a plus.
  • Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar is preferred.
