TITLE: Compliance Program Manager
LOCATION: Downtown Seattle, WA
TYPE: Contract (6+ months, opportunity to extend/convert)
PAY: $55-$80/hr + DOE

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Compliance Manager for a large non-profit in Seattle that provides housing and healthcare to those in need. This person would be responsible for the development and implementation of a healthcare compliance program.
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive compliance programs that address healthcare regulations as well as broader organizational compliance needs
- Conduct research and stay up to date with applicable regulations, including healthcare specific compliance requirements
- Create a compliance calendar that schedules regular training, audits, and monitors activities department wide
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to design and update training programs, tailoring programs to the specific needs of each group
- Maintain records of compliance activities, such as audits, training, and corrective actions
- Communicates compliance updates, expectations, and requirements clearly across all levels of the organization
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Legal Studies, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, with experience in both healthcare and broader organizational compliance
- Familiarity with compliance management software and tools, with a basic understanding of IT security.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws as well as general regulatory frameworks governing non-healthcare operations.
- Experience in crisis management and handling compliance-related incidents.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Membership in relevant professional organizations such as the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) or similar is a plus.
- Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar is preferred.
