Overview: We are seeking a skilled Database Access and Reporting Specialist (Business Analyst) to assist in the development, review, and validation of database access accounts, and the updating of Power BI reports and dashboards. This role requires strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with various database group owners and leadership teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, database administration, and project management.


Key Responsibilities:

Plan Development & Validation:

  • Assist in creating a plan to review and validate database access accounts.
  • Update Power BI reports and dashboards to reflect current access statuses.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with database group owners across ICS, ESD, CDA, IRC, and their leadership to review existing authorized user accounts.
  • Identify and revoke/remove unauthorized accounts.
  • Collaborate with IRC teams to take follow-up actions on user accounts using appropriate NM processes.

Database Access Management:

  • Collaborate with ICS database admins, database owners, and IRC teams to manage privileged access groups.
  • Add members to new groups, request new CyberArk IDs, and ensure proper configuration and addition to CyberArk.
  • Coordinate with developers and support personnel to test and use vaulted IDs for job-related DB access in production.

Process Development & Monitoring:

  • Develop and implement a process to monitor user account migration to the Privileged Access Management solution.
  • Validate user activities and coordinate efforts to remove users from existing DB access groups.


Required Experience & Skills:

Project Management:

  • Experience as a Senior Project Manager and with Scrum in a technical environment.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and manage complex projects effectively.

Analytical & Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical capabilities to assess the current state of the CAFM system.
  • Identify gaps and propose data-driven solutions to improve business outcomes.
  • Comfortable collecting and analyzing data from different teams and departments.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst with strong data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel for data slicing and dicing.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
  • Experience with CyberArk or similar privileged access management tools.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and provide clear updates and reports.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Located in Milwaukee (MKE) or Franklin, WI, but remote candidates will be considered.
  • Experience with Scrum methodologies (Scrum Master certification not required).
