With a generalist HR focus, the HRBP will deliver efficient and effective operational HR support while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance HR services for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related requests and inquiries within US businesses.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to promote strong people practices and ensure adherence to company HR policies across the business.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and priorities, taking proactive steps to support them.
  • Work closely with Talent Acquisition to support the company's growth ambitions, including interviewing, recruitment, and managing onboarding processes.
  • Assist the Human Resources Director in developing and maintaining HR policies and practices that comply with employment legislation across US operating jurisdictions.
  • Support the development and implementation of an effective employee engagement and wellbeing strategy.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of an effective Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy.
  • Provide project support on strategic HR initiatives, such as reward, learning and development, and talent management.
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement to optimize HR function performance in a rapidly growing business.
  • Assist managers with resource management, talent management, and succession planning.

Experience

  • Extensive HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
  • Solid understanding of US employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Experience working in an international business is a plus.
  • Significant experience in supporting Talent Acquisition, including managing new starter and onboarding processes.
  • Strong HR advisory skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Reliable with excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and changing environment.
  • Enjoys a hands-on role with the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive approach and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
