Our team is rapidly growing and is looking for extra help in the day-to-day operations in our Westport, CT location. This is an opportunity to get in at the beginning of a multi-million dollar company.


You'll be able to contribute, develop, and learn from a growing needlepoint lifestyle brand. The Marketing Manager leads the brand in creating promotional campaigns to enhance the brand image in the market and reach the target audience. We pride ourselves in high-touch customer service and look forward to bringing on another member to our team. This role will be pivotal as we round out the Penny Linn corporate team.

Job Type: Full-time salary, exempt | Hybrid: 4 days in person per week, 1 day remote


Experience: 3+ years in social media, marketing, and content creation


Responsibilities

  • Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies aligned with our goals.
  • Content Creation: Create and curate high-quality, engaging content, including posts, stories, videos, and images in and out of the office environment for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Remain at the forefront of trends and emerging platforms.
  • Community Engagement: Interact with our community digitally by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build relationships and foster a loyal fan base. Attend relevant events and promote in a natural environment when possible.
  • Collaborations: Work alongside our team to seek out new brand partnerships and PR opportunities.
  • Campaign Management: Work with the external marketing team to plan and execute social media and email campaigns for product launches, promotions, and events. 
  • Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice across all social media channels.
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for retrieving customer sales data, VIP client upkeep, etc.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new team members.


Qualifications

  • Experience in social media management, preferably in a similar industry (D2C, lifestyle, commerce, etc.)
  • Proficient in photo and video creation + editing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with social media tools and platforms.
  • Strong copywriting and grammar skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work closely with marketing and other departments.
