Job Summary:

Our biotech client is seeking a dedicated Onsite IT Support Specialist to join their growing organization. This position will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services across two locations in Durham. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for personal and professional growth within the organization. This role requires full-time onsite presence, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operating System Support:

- Provide support for Windows 10 and assist in the transition to Windows 11.

- Cloud Services:

- Manage and support Azure and Microsoft 365, including Teams.

- IT Service Management:

- Utilize Freshservice for ITSM/ticketing.

- Use ManageEngine Endpoint Central for remote support/RMM and device management.

- Handle tickets, document incidents, and manage IT assets effectively.

- Hardware and Software Management:

- Manage the hardware stockroom, including imaging PCs and providing Windows support.

- Support remote/WFH employees as necessary.

- Endpoint Management:

- Utilize Microsoft Intune for device management.

- Client Support:

- Provide on-site support to clients when needed.

Qualifications:

- Experience:

- At least 1-2 years of helpdesk experience.

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Teams.

- Experience with Freshservice for ITSM/ticketing.

- Familiarity with ManageEngine Endpoint Central and Microsoft Intune.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to be professional and maintain a positive reputation with employees.

- Reliable, self-starter with initiative.

- Ownership and responsibility over work.

- Ability to propose solutions proactively.

- Other Requirements:

- Must be willing to be fully onsite at two locations in Durham NC.

- Open to providing support for remote/WFH employees as needed.

- Willingness to visit client sites when required.
