Compensation: $15-$17 per hour

Work Schedule: Part-Time; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates for the Employment Support Specialist role must possess a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high motivation and the ability to work autonomously without direct supervision. This role requires exceptional patience, compassion, and effective communication skills to ensure professional interactions. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation is mandatory. While certifications in CPR, first aid, and NCI+ are preferred, they can be provided by the organization. Additionally, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide customized onsite job training tailored to the unique needs and interests of each individual, facilitating optimal job placements.
  • Develop and monitor personalized goals and plans for each participant.
  • Act as a liaison between employers and employees to meet mutual expectations.
  • Ensure safe transportation for individuals while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation to comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Offer continuous support and guidance after placement to promote long-term success.
  • Submit timely and accurate billing in accordance with established deadlines.
  • Engage in professional development and training to remain current on best practices.
  • Aim to meet or exceed quarterly performance targets through effective coaching strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of working in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings, as well as in varying temperatures.
  • Willingness to travel to different work sites as necessary.
