The Programs Specialist provides support to the LCLD programs team. Candidates must be professional, self-motivated, flexible, and able to thrive with multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment.


Primary duties


Provide support to the activities of the LCLD Alumni Network, the 1L Scholars Program, and the Success in Law School Mentoring Program:


  • Serve as a liaison and point person between a variety of Alumni groups, including the LCLD Alumni Executive Committee, and the Alumni Program Manager
  • Manage the LCLD Alumni All In Annual Giving Campaign Oversee and track participation in Alumni and Pipeline programs
  • Complete administrative requests from Program Managers, including scheduling calls, sending out mass mailings and taking meeting minutes
  • Attend in-person and virtual program events to assist in execution
  • Support Alumni and Pipeline Program Managers as needed


Provide data and technology support, to include:

  • Serve as the data guru for the Alumni and Pipeline programs - you’ll be charged with keeping daily track of program participation and progress, managing the deployment of program surveys, and anticipating additional data needs
  • Help maintain internal CRM and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Update program and event details and participation on the LCLD website
  • Provide website technical support to program participants

  • You’re a self-motivated professional who enjoys collaborating with others and learning new things
  • You must enjoy working with people and be able to deliver excellent customer service by communicating well by phone, email, and in-person
  • You have a strong technology acumen – experience with WordPress and/or Salesforce is a plus
  • You’ve got the flexibility to travel to attend LCLD program meetings, sometimes on the weekends
  • You’ve got an undergraduate degree (preferred)
  • You’ve got a passion for increasing diversity and promoting inclusion in the legal profession
