Job Description:


The Accounting and HR Administrator reports directly to the Controller to ensure Masterclock's HR & Accountingpolicies and practices comply with labor laws, sales and use tax regulations and generally accepted accountingprinciples. This position includes respons1bihties for accounts payable/ receivable, journal entries and other generalbookkeeping tasks In addition this position administers payroll benefits, coordination/ retention of employee records

and back up sales administration tasks The Accounting and HR Administrator Is an integral member of the Financeand Administration team and supports special projects as they come up and provides Insight/ oversight tomanagement regarding discrepancies m reporting, management effectiveness and employee relations that couldhave an adverse effect on the business.


Key responsibilities include

• General Accounting functions to Include Accounts Receivable, Payable, Journal entries, balance sheetadjustments, fixed assets review and generation/ review of financial reports

• Maintaining employee roster and records including work status eligibility, salary data, training, performanceand development plans

• Administration of bl-weekly payroll to include system inputs, salary and time off data

• Administration of employee benefits to include hosting open enrollment, coordination of benefits with thirdparties, employee education and recommendations regarding health care and 401(k) provider networks

• Maintenance and administration of Employee Handbook to ensure policies and procedures are up-to-date andmap to changes in labor laws; Communication of changes m handbook to employees

• Support of management/ employee relations to include recommendations regarding recruitment, facilitatingbackground checks, salary benchmarking and employee separations

• Support of projects to include cross training on key functions or new systems and potential projects such asaffirmative action plans and/or export training as required to support Masterclock's strategic objectives

• General oversight of customer order, shipping and receiving documents, vendor payments, credit applicationsand distributor discounts/ representative comm1sion payments and communication of discrepancies to seniormanagement

• Supports audits and risk analysis



Qualifications:


BA/BS in Accounting or related field

• 3-5 years experience In accounting and HR generalist position

• Ability to develop and deliver effective plans, analysis and financial reports

• Detail oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Accounting and office admin systems (Quick Books, MS Excel, MS Word, ERP)
