6mth contract (maternity leave cover then potential ongoing opportunity)

Hybrid - 3days onsite in Somerset, NJ / could consider remote with exp.


Pay rate - $35 - 50/hr (based on experience)


A key client has reached out for assistance on a maternity leave cover. This is an individual contributor role, but you will work collaboratively with a number of different groups in the wider HR team. This is a Benefits Administrator.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefit programs (with the assistance of the Broker), along with being the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance as necessary on benefit options, eligibility, coverage details, and claims procedures.
  • Collaborate with benefit plan vendors and third-party administrators during the period to ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and terminations of employee benefits.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Payable individual for monthly bill reconciliation of all vendor invoices.
  • Maintain employee benefits records. Administer ongoing leave of absence and ADA cases with the plan administrator.
  • Prepare reports and analyze benefit data to support payroll processes, decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Assist in resolving benefit-related issues, disputes, and appeals, working closely with employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the administration of global mobility and immigration programs.
  • Other ad hoc HR related task as required.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Business Admin or similar, plus min. 5yrs of hands-on experience in benefits administration.
  • Preferred exp. with global mobility and immigration.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft excel, experience with Workday is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve benefit-related issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and integrity
  • Personable, professional and strong communication skills both written and verbal.
