Summary (Major Purpose of the Role): Posting of repair data in Microsoft AX and SAP.

Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Entering Drive Medical SAP data into Microsoft AX.
  • Resolving incoming exception problems and all other extraneous issues dealing with units and components that are received in violation of the normal RMA process.
  • Closing out unit credits and replacement orders.
  • Assisting repair associates with posting process in Microsoft AX
  • Preparing customer invoices for all non-warranty repair items.
  • Contacting customers regarding non-warranty estimates. Handling call-backs and overseeing the disposition of estimate units.
  • Working with the procurement, cycle counting, and supervisory groups to ensure that RAW stocking levels for the repair services are properly allocated and maintained.
  • Serving as the liaison between the repair department and customer service to assist in unit prioritization, status reports, and backlog updates.
  • Preparing reports as required for repair, warranty, and labor data.
  • Assisting Manufacturing Engineering in maintaining and creating repair documentation and procedures.
  • Assisting in special projects as assigned by department manager.

Reporting Relationships and Supervision:

  • This position works under the supervision of the Manager, Service. Most areas of responsibility are reviewed on a weekly basis. In addition to the required daily duties, project work spanning up to 1-year may be assigned in cooperation with the Repair Associates and other functional areas of the business.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate with business background or GED.
  • 1-2 years of general office or administrative assistant experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service or Technical Service background is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and the use of Microsoft Office Software Packages is preferred.
