Job Description:

The National Sales Manager - Distribution will be focusing on revenue growth targets by maximising sales potential with key retailers. He/she will be actively prospecting, developing sales plans and growing customer relationships.

The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter who is results-oriented with strong relationship management, strategy development, project management and problem-solving skills.

This position is remote-based in the United States.

What you will be doing:

* Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the distribution vertical customer accounts
* Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company's customer base and ensure its strong presence
* Communicate and work with merchandising, marketing and product teams with distribution customers.
* Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs * Accurately forecasting sales, revenue and expenses
* Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
* Travel is required


What We Are Looking For:

* 5+ years experience as a sales representative, national account manager or sales manager in the water filtration, UV or DIY channel
* Proven experience in developing sales strategies and consistently, successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Distribution account experience
* Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
* Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
* Strong business sense and willingness to be an industry expert
* Degree in sales/business administration or a related field
