Working Hours: Tuesday - Saturday - 4:00pm to 12:30am ET

Job description:

Describe the function your group supports from an LOB perspective:

Support the OpenShift platform utilized by 6 different LOB in the bank.


Team Background and Preferred Candidate History:

Financial service is a plus, open to diverse industry background.


Dynamic of the team:

Work with a large tech support team supporting multiple lines of business with a customer focused outlook.


Key responsibilities :

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Support critical applications and ensure the stability of services by performing dedicated maintenance activities
  • Engage in automation activities - perform root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation
  • Knowledge of production support process including incident/change/problem management, call triaging, and critical issue resolution procedures
  • Work on Jira backlog when Prod Incidents and change work


Must have technical skills, tools, or experience:

REQUIREMENTS:

OpenShift/Kubernetes

CI/CD Tools Knowledge like Jenkins and Bitbucket

Linux administration

Ansible automation

Incident Management

Change Management


Soft skills:

Communication in team and throughout org, ability to follow standard operating procedures, team player, customer focused.


Degrees or certifications:

CKA Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus

5+ years of related work experience regardless of educational background

Bachelor's degree preferred, not required (software engineering, computer science, and/or related field)
