Working Hours: Tuesday - Saturday - 4:00pm to 12:30am ET

Job Overview:

The role involves supporting the OpenShift platform that caters to multiple lines of business within the organization.

Team Dynamics:

The ideal candidate will be part of a substantial technical support team that prioritizes customer satisfaction while managing various business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily tasks include:

  • Ensuring the reliability of critical applications through dedicated maintenance efforts.
  • Participating in automation initiatives, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing solutions.
  • Familiarity with production support processes, including incident, change, and problem management, as well as critical issue resolution.
  • Managing the Jira backlog in response to production incidents and change requests.

Essential Technical Skills:

Requirements include:

  • Proficiency in OpenShift/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket.
  • Linux system administration skills.
  • Knowledge of Ansible for automation.
  • Experience in incident and change management.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication abilities, adherence to standard operating procedures, teamwork, and a customer-centric approach are essential.

Educational Background:

While a Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory. A CKA Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is advantageous.
