Scope of Role

We are seeking a highly skilled pre-sales engineer with extensive knowledge and experience in ERP software to join our client’s growing team based in East Berlin, Connecticut.


As a Pre-Sales engineer, you will serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor to our client’s customers during the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for utilizing your technical expertise to support our client's sales efforts through understanding customer pain-points and proposing customized solutions that demonstrate the functional capabilities of their bespoke software.


Knowledge and Experience

  • Be an ERP software applications technical expert as you are responsible for providing pre-sales technical and functional support
  • Possess 5+ years’ experience in a similar pre-sales engineering role
  • Have proven Sales demonstration experience
  • Have a track record of achieving targets in a competitive environment
  • Be willing to travel as needed to conduct pre-sales demos of the product=


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our software solution, able to communicate technical concepts to potential customers in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Lead pre-sales discussions to identify customer requirements surrounding ERP software and solutions, presenting the business value of our client's Software’s applications, demonstrating deep familiarity with our client's direction, product roadmap, and industry presence.
  • Technical capabilities translate into business solutions, addressing the customer’s pain points.
  • Build and manage domain-specific, impressive demonstrations that effectively drive interest in new clients as well as in existing ones to broaden their usage of their solutions, as an advisor who recommends solutions architecture that fits their business challenges.
  • Work cross-functionally with the sales, project management, and delivery teams to ensure a smooth and successful product delivery.


Salary: $100k with possible commission
