Position Summary:

The Office Administrator will coordinate office activities and operations while providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources, management, and internal employees.


Specific Job Functions:

  • Primary contact for greeting visitors to the building and answering incoming calls from reception area, ensuring all visitors are properly “documented” in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Distribute mail to appropriate employees
  • Maintain and order office supplies, and cleaning supplies. Order other supplies as requested.
  • Ensure all copy rooms are adequately stocked and maintained.
  • Maintain overall appearance of the office and breakroom.
  • Main contact for janitorial and vending services for the office.
  • Coordinate office functions including ordering company lunches as needed.
  • Assemble materials for delivery to trade shows or to commercial team members.
  • Perform administrative activities and clerical tasks as requested by internal employees.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Minimum Qualifications, Education & Work Experience:

  • High school diploma required, Associate’s degree in office administration or related field preferred.
  • At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
