HRIS Administrator

The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Administrator will support and maintain the organizations HRIS applications and modules. As a key HR team member, oversee the HR Information System within ASMPT AMCAS, for both SMT and SEMI segments, focused on implementation and integration of WD and ADP, user support, and data accuracy and reporting. Function as an integral member of the AMCAS HR team to foster cohesiveness and a team spirit of win/win in the HR team, with the 5 businesses and with all the employees. This role requires a combination of relationship-building skills and a deep understanding of HR Information Systems best practices and recordkeeping, and HR practices and principles, along with excellent communication, people skills and attention to details.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
- Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
- Compile or assist with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
- Serve as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
- Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration preferred, Associates will be considered, HS diploma required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR, to include a minimum of 2 years as an HR Information System Administrator, in semiconductor and manufacturing preferred
Qualifications and Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Workday backend configuration and ADP Workforce Now
- Must have extensive experience using HR information systems for data storage, analysis and reporting
- Must have knowledge of US Labor laws (i.e. ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA) Must have ability to function independently with minimal supervision as well as work productively as part of a team environment
- Advanced MS Office Skills; including PowerPoint and very advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- 1+ years of managing people is preferred.
