Job Purpose / Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the HR Manager and support the HR team with the recruitment process, new hire orientation, maintaining job descriptions, HR special projects and administrative tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
• Recruitment: Support the recruitment process by updating job descriptions, postings and resume screening.
• Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• New Hire Orientation: Facilitate the new hire orientation for office and remote new hires.
• Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment laws.
• Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance.
• Special Projects: Work as needed on special projects, assist in the annual open enrollment process, employee events, internal audits and other administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following:
- Associate’s degree in HR or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of HR experience. Ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
Working Conditions / Physical Demands:
- Normal office environment: no adverse environmental conditions expected.
- Utilize a computer and other tools for administrative support.
- Assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 10 pounds, on occasion.
- May need to handle issues off hours on laptop on occasion.
