A rapidly growing company in the multi-omics industry, is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Lead Generation Specialist to join their dynamic team. They are at the forefront of driving innovation in biotechnology. This role is ideal for an ambitious and dedicated individual who is a strategic thinker and eager to contribute to a thriving biotech environment.
General:
- Meet or exceed quarterly metrics, goals, and project plans as assigned.
- Support the commercial sales and marketing team to increase the sales funnel and accelerate funnel velocity.
Lead Generation and Commercial Coordination:
- Contact and cold call potential customers targeted for our services, often following a script, and answer entry-level technical questions.
- Recommend products and services based on customer needs.
- Take detailed call notes, record feedback, and create follow-up activities in HubSpot CRM.
- Use the CRM database (HubSpot) to enhance the effectiveness of Regional Sales Managers’ sales calls.
- Qualify and develop leads from various sources, including marketing or product management, such as tradeshow lead follow-up.
- Coordinate and support regional tradeshows, tabletops, and seminars by identifying events, inviting specific customer groups, entering leads into HubSpot, and following up with attendees.
- Assist Regional Sales Managers by tracking customer purchase orders and sample submissions to move the sales process forward.
- Manage the web chat channel, engaging with website visitors to qualify their needs and pass them on to sales.
Marketing Research:
- Conduct customer and market research projects as assigned.
- Perform searches and extract data from SciLeads, HubSpot, and other databases.
- Research and translate account structures and scopes into HubSpot.
- Drive funnel lead generation by identifying key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision makers (KDMs), and mapping related researchers to KOLs/KDMs.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with effective communication over the phone and video.
- Proficiency in database management and advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables).
- Ability to quickly and effectively learn new NGS methods and applications.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work independently.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
- Flexible working hours, adapted to the national working hours of potential clients.
- Ability to achieve call/week and leads/week targets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field; MS or PhD is a plus.
- Experience in sales or telesales is highly advantageous.
- Web scraping skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in the English language.
