We are seeking a dynamic Director of Quality to join a leading aerospace and defense company. With a commitment to innovation, safety, and excellence, we are at the forefront of the aerospace industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.


The Director of Quality will oversee and manage the quality assurance and control processes for all aerospace products and services. This strategic role requires a visionary leader who will drive quality improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement best practices to maintain the highest standards of product integrity and safety.


The Director of Quality will be responsible for:


  • Create and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the quality assurance team.
  • Oversee adherence to industry standards, including FAA, EASA, and ISO 9001/AS9100 regulations.
  • Ensure all quality documentation is accurate and up-to-date with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven methods to monitor and improve quality metrics.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement effective corrective and preventive actions to address and prevent recurring problems.
  • Manage supplier quality programs, including audits, evaluations, and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee the maintenance of certification records and ensure timely renewal of relevant certifications.
  • Manage quality-related regulatory submissions and interactions with regulatory bodies.


The Director of Quality will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Quality Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within the aerospace industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality standards (FAA, EASA, AS9100, ISO 9001).
  • Proven track record of leading successful quality improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
