The Quality Assurance Director will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control protocols for all aerospace-related products and services. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, guide, and mentor the quality assurance team to foster a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including FAA, EASA, and ISO 9001/AS9100.
  • Maintain accurate and current quality documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies to track and improve quality metrics.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

  • Oversee supplier quality programs, including audits, assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage the upkeep of certification records and ensure timely renewal of necessary certifications.
  • Handle quality-related regulatory submissions and liaise with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Quality Management, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management within the aerospace sector, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of aerospace quality standards (FAA, EASA, AS9100, ISO 9001).
  • Demonstrated success in leading quality improvement initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a background in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities.
