We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales team while also actively contributing as an individual performer. The selected candidate will be instrumental in inspiring and leading a sales force while also personally engaging in key sales activities to drive results and to support our growth plans for the assigned market. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive market share growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing support, and coaching to maximize their performance and professional growth.
  • Actively contribute as an individual performer to drive sales and meet targets.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture through both guidance and personal engagement.
  • Play a dual role, providing leadership direction while actively participating in key sales activities.
  • Identify key vertical markets, including manufacturers, operators, developers, integrators, consultants, and general contractors (G/Cs), and develop strategies to penetrate and expand our presence in those markets.
  • Establish and nurture strategic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target companies, positioning AK Power Solutions as the preferred supplier.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to align sales strategies with product offerings and customer needs.
  • Drive customer engagement and lead the effort in understanding customer needs, pain points, and market trends to shape our product roadmap and enhance our competitive advantage.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior leadership, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team, ensuring effective communication and coordination across functions.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably with a focus on the EV charging industry.
  • Deep understanding of the EV charging market, including knowledge of manufacturers, consultants, integrators, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team towards achieving targets and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically, make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven track record of driving sales results, meeting or exceeding targets, and effectively managing a sales pipeline.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
