About this role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our vibrant team at Legit Security. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to jumpstart their career in business development within the cybersecurity sector. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving our business growth by identifying new sales opportunities and building relationships with potential clients.
What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Schedule and conduct initial client meetings to introduce Legit Security’s solutions, understand client needs, and identify business opportunities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to understand and leverage campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Collaborate with sales teams to achieve better results and drive sales processes.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Participate in conferences, shows, and exhibitions as required.
- Report to the Business Development Manager on sales results and provide feedback on the market.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Ability to come into the downtown Boston office 2-3 times/week.
Bonus points:
- Up to 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or related field, preferably in the tech or cybersecurity industry.
