The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Director of Business Development to join our team, where you’ll play a critical role in identifying and qualifying potential investors. Responsibilities:


  • Lead Prospecting and Outreach – Identify and engage potential investors, including institutional allocators, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and endowments.
  • Relationship Building – Build rapport with prospects, understand their unique needs, and position the firm’s investment strategies to meet those needs.
  • CRM Management – Maintain and update investor interactions within the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Cold Calling and Qualification – Execute targeted outreach campaigns, qualify leads, and prepare them for deeper engagement with the investor relations team.
  • Collaborative Support – Work closely with marketing and investment teams to create compelling pitch decks and promotional materials.
  • Market Intelligence – Stay informed on hedge fund industry trends, competitive positioning, and investor preferences to refine targeting strategies.
  • Reporting – Measure and report on lead generation performance metrics, including conversion rates and ROI, to optimize outreach efforts.


Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, business, or related field. (GPA of 3.5+ preferred.)
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-Starter: Highly motivated with a results-driven mindset and a commitment to exceeding goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in data entry, reporting, and crafting outreach strategies.
