Title - Manager of Partner Relations
Hours: 8 - 5 - Hybrid
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary: up to $145K

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; relevant certifications a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in process management, project management, or a related field; prior experience in law firm operations or partner management is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of workflow design, process improvement, and tracking systems.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances.
Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement & Management: Understand the day-to-day workflow of Partner Relations processes and act as an internal consultant to identify and recommend improvements.
- Issue Management: Navigate unexpected issues such as changes in dates or requirements. Ensure processes stay on track, managing personnel gaps and priority deadlines, and maintaining availability outside regular business hours to liaise with stakeholders in different time zones.
- Workflow Design & Implementation: Design, centralize, and implement Partner Relations process workflows using various firm tools to streamline operations.
- Tracking & Monitoring: Implement and maintain a tracking system for actions related to Partner status changes. Oversee daily operations and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to Senior Leadership regarding the status, issues, and concerns of partner onboarding, transfers, governance, and departures.
- Stakeholder Support & Recommendations: Assess the needs of leadership and functional stakeholders, offering recommendations for process improvements or system enhancements. Gather feedback on current processes and provide suggestions for future improvements.
- Culture & Training: Promote a culture of organizational effectiveness by developing or refining guidelines and best practices for those involved in Partner Relations processes. Provide necessary training to stakeholders on policies, practices, and procedures.
- Change Management: Lead all change management activities related to new workflows, processes, or systems, including rollout and communication in collaboration with firm leadership.
