Computer Technical Supervisor

This position is responsible for Supervising two teams of technicians that handle, process, catalog, repair or deconstruct various types of Information Technology (”IT”).IT equipment may include, but not be limited to, desktop computers, laptops, panel monitors, servers, printers, cell phones, tablets, point of sale devices, network switches and a variety of other technical devices.
Work Environment
Position will be performed in a warehouse environment which requires the ability to stand for multiple hours in a day in a facility that is exposed to altering degrees of cold and heat.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the processing, disassembling, repairing and deployment of parts and devices regardless of final disposition, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
Train team members on equipment and processes, managing productive workflow throughout department.
Manage and develop technical documentation to ensure current and accurate materials to train and manage technicians.
Manage multiple open projects at one time and provide updates and reports to supervisor and executive team as required.
Report on any new discoveries or anomalies learned during teardown/disassembling process.
Monitor established metrics to ensure technicians are being productive.
Manage digital timecards in HR payroll software of all department staff on daily basis.
Monitor and report to each technician’s HR folder both successes and opportunities.
Day-to-day management of department team members to ensure performance consistency and productivity.
Manage and execute in timely manner all material to assess annual staff reviews as dedicated timelines.
Assist Hiring Manager in the recruitment of new or replacement technicians as required.
Train team members on equipment and processes.
Maintain department organization and cleanliness at all stations.
Other duties as assigned.
Oversee the development of computer parts specification sheets for parts used in repair workstreams.
Report on any new discoveries or anomalies related to repairs that Company needs to share with clients.
Manage the testing of parts before entering to the inventory database.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills and abilities)
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that would provide the required abilities.
7 or more years of progressive work experience and responsibilities preferably in warehouse or light industrial environment.
3-5 years of previous supervisory required.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must successfully pass Criminal Background check and Drug screening.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs, email, database applications.
Attention to detail and familiarity with technical equipment.
Good planning and organizing skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills - ability to research, identify and resolve problems effectively and in a timely manner.
Ability to adjust to operational needs as they arise.
Ability to make sound decisions.
Ability to work effectively and interact with all levels of staff and departments throughout the organization.
Strong organizations and time management skills to manage multiple priority efficiently.
Ability to work under stress with very challenging targets, deadlines, and constraints.
Ability to supervise and motivate others.

Physical Demands
This position requires extended periods of time working in a warehouse facility.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
Requires the use of hands to handle objects and equipment. Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading products.
Requires the ability to stock shelves by climbing ladders or stairs; able to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift/move inventory.
Duties will require the ability to routinely lift 25 lbs., and occasionally greater than 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, or fumes.
