Event Marketing Manager

Our client, a large B2B tech company in Seattle, is looking for an Event Marketing Manager for a 10-month contract. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in event marketing and management, focusing on in-person events and activations, as well as experience creating compelling marketing content for event websites and email campaigns. The Event Marketing Manager will also project manage event execution, including sourcing and communicating with vendors, training volunteer staff, and ensuring all logistics run smoothly. This is a 10-month contract and will require 25% travel to events and as needed.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute event marketing plans and strategies for in-person events and activations.
  • Create and manage content for event websites, email campaigns, and social media channels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Source, communicate with, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee volunteer staff for events.
  • Monitor event budgets and ensure events are executed within budget.
  • Analyze event performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure all event materials and communications align with brand guidelines.
  • Manage event registrations and attendee communications.
  • Provide on-site support during events, including setup, execution, and teardown.


Required Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing and management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience with content creation for websites, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
