We are currently seeking a full-time Digital Marketing Client Manager with a focus on SEO. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in search engine marketing, be data-driven, and demonstrate a proven track record of successfully managing multiple search engine marketing campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for creating new campaigns, managing bids, optimizing performance, and preparing reports to support advertiser goals. Success in this position requires confidence, accountability, and an action-oriented approach.

As a Digital Marketing Client Manager, you will work closely with clients and agency team members to achieve project goals and ensure successful outcomes.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with four days per week in the office and work-from-home Fridays. Fujisan Marketing’s office is located in the vibrant Fremont neighborhood of Seattle.

Compensation:

  • $70,000 to $90,000 per year, DOE

 

Key Responsibilities of the SEO Digital Marketing Client Manager:

  • Develop optimization strategies that improve clients' website search engine rankings.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements and optimizations for ongoing campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to uncover opportunities for content optimization and new content creation.
  • Perform competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancing our SEO and content strategies.
  • Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, ensuring optimal crawling, indexing, and ranking.
  • Create compelling, high-quality website content, including blog posts, page titles, and descriptions, to enhance search engine visibility.
  • Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies to improve domain authority and overall search engine rankings.
  • Coordinate content creation through an editorial calendar, blog outlines, and trends research.
  • Update website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Generate detailed campaign reports to track and analyze performance.
  • Monitor emerging trends in search and provide recommendations to client-facing staff.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
  • Manage new client projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with Fujisan Marketing's project manager to align on timelines and deliverables.
  • Translate business goals into actionable deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team and client objectives.

 

What a Successful Digital Marketing Client Manager Will Have:

  • College degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in organic search engine optimization.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and their constraints.
  • In-depth understanding of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics or other third-party analytics and optimization tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Search tools.
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work within firm deadlines.
  • Prior experience with PPC and paid social advertising management platforms is highly preferred.
  • Agency experience or experience working with multiple advertisers is a plus.
