Email Marketing Specialist

We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to be responsible for the day-to-day execution of all editorial and promotional email campaigns for PartyLite North America & UK & The Candle-Lite Company US and related automations within the company’s overall marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for turning vision into reality, a proactive communicator, and can deliver strong results across multiple parallel campaigns.
This person will communicate with internal and external partners to ensure deliverables are complete, and campaigns are on schedule, fully tested and sent without error.
This role reports to the Global Marketing Manager and will lead the US, Canada, and UK email campaign. Superb attention to detail and the ability to communicate ideas to stakeholders is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the execution of email campaigns by keeping calendars up to date, making sure assets are received on time, ensuring proper QA is completed, scheduling and sending all campaigns free of errors
Campaign setup within Listrak’s design platform is required along with setting up and tracking A/B testing.
Complete all metrics reporting and analysis including weekly and monthly reports, weekly analysis updates to internal team with strategy recommendations, metrics to support quarterly and annual planning
Work with Global Marketing Manager to incorporate metrics findings into strategy
Conduct regular database cleaning & updates (imports, etc) at optimal intervals
Attend internal team meetings and represent email marketing campaigns, schedules and plans
Work with external agency Listrak to incorporate landing pages, forms, pop-ups, triggers and more for marketing automation.
Ensure successful delivery of all campaigns may include occasional weekend or off hour work to check that campaigns go out as scheduled.
Work with Global Marketing Manager to develop email strategy presentations to Creative Services, eCommerce Team and Marketing Leadership team
Collaborate with eCommerce Team to efficiently drive customer through purchase interest to sales conversion.
Keep apprised of industry trends impacting email marketing and communications and share best practices with internal teams. Research topics like best subject lines, deliverability practices, design trends, etc
Measure and analyze key performance indicators, ensuring email campaigns are impactful, delivered on time, accurately tracked, and continually improved upon.
Qualifications:
At least two years of proven success designing and managing email marketing campaigns (ideally for consumer goods brands).
Familiarity with email marketing software, customer retention marketing programs and marketing automation platforms. Ideally has experience with Google Analytics, iCentris, Shopify and Listrak or similar.
Previous experience creating campaigns across multiple languages including facilitating translations is preferred.
Metric-driven critical thinker with keen problem-solving skills
Deadline and process oriented - loves figuring out the most efficient way to complete a task.
Exceptional communication skills, whether in writing, in person, or over the phone, and you have a talent for getting what you need from people.
Strong task management skills, including demonstrated ability to manage many details & execute with little supervision.
Values transparency, experimentation, and growth, and continually seeks to evolve both personally and in your work life.
Incredibly resourceful and has an aptitude for solving problems autonomously, while having the awareness to know when help is needed.
Fluent in English
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required if above experience is met.
