Business Development Manager

PURPOSE:
The purpose of a Business Development Manager is to support EZ STAK's sales efforts by acquiring new customers, maintaining existing customer relationships, and executing on the EZ STAK sales process and playbook.
FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the infrastructure sector.
- Conduct market research, generate leads through networking, cold calling, and digital outreach, and set up meetings to introduce potential clients to the company’s products and services.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Provide excellent customer service, address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, follow up on sales interactions, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
Sales Process Execution:
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing the deal efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations, develop accurate proposals and quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales transactions.

Technical Product Knowledge - Understanding the technical aspects and applications of the company’s products.
Sales and Negotiation Skills - Proficiency in selling techniques, negotiation strategies, and closing deals.
Customer Relationship Management - Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Market and Industry Knowledge - Understanding of the infrastructure industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Problem-Solving Abilities - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organizational and Time Management Skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet deadlines.
Adaptability and Flexibility - Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions, customer needs, and internal processes.
METRICS:
Sales Revenue - Total sales revenue generated by the Sales Associate.
Qualified Quoted Dollars – Budget Authority Need & Time
Meaningful Sales interactions (MSI) – Face to face visits, phone calls.
