Ideal Candidate Experience

  • Preferred degree in Culinary Arts
  • Experience in a similar high-volume food service environment
  • Training in food service with knowledge of food preparation techniques aligned with HACCP processes
  • Understanding of restaurant merchandising and marketing for service preparation and presentation
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present information to customers, clients, and team members
  • Experience in pastry and sushi preparation

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee the procurement, preparation, and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective food services
  • Recruit, train, and schedule staff while participating in corporate training and staff development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records within the operating budget
  • Ensure sanitary and safe operations in compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations, including adherence to HACCP guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses
  • Represent the organization in a courteous and friendly manner, engaging with customers, listening to feedback, and implementing changes to better meet the needs of clients and customers

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
  • Adhere to the dress code while at work
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time deadlines during peak periods
