Please note: this is a San Diego-based position with an office in La Jolla (3 days/wk in-office required).


About the position:

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for the seamless delivery of team-wide marketing and social media services, coordinating across internal teams and clients to develop content and audience growth strategies and ensure those strategies are executed.


Our ideal candidate is extremely analytical, data-driven, and has a deep understanding of cross-platform social media content and audience growth strategies.

Responsibilities: As Director of Marketing Operations, oversee marketing and teamwide operations to ensure the meticulous and timely execution of client strategies, reporting, and optimization activities.


Promos and Ad Operations:

  • Analyze data from the monthly promo spend to identify key metrics and analytics for teamwide dissemination. Data collected will be used to optimize ad and promo strategies, make content recommendations to clients, and more
  • Measure ROI on all ad spend through Infloww software to track which promos are performing and which are not
  • Enter and update data on everything promo-related
  • Communicate daily with ad vendors to ensure promos are deployed in a timely manner
  • Conduct outreach to new ad vendors directly through Telegram groups for the further CEO outreach
  • Work closely with ad vendors to ensure internal teams have the necessary content for promos to be successful
  • Work with the Social Media Director to ensure clients deliver content aligned with promo requirements and content strategies
  • Work directly with the Director of Client Success to: 1). optimize OnlyFansTV Promotions. You’ll be responsible for making sure all profiles are properly set up and look great; 2). Ensure all OnlyFans shout-outs are scheduled and deployed daily


Social Media and Content Strategies:

  • Stay on the pulse of all relevant social media trends; follow other creators and influencers on Instagram to continuously source new content ideas with potential for virality
  • Work with the Social Media Director to develop and implement content strategies for clients to execute and deliver back to the team for posting on IG, Twitter, etc.
  • Continuously test new content and promotional strategies to see improvements in engagement, follower numbers, and conversion rates (free ---> paid subscribers)
  • Regularly audit company-owned Instagram and Twitter pages to ensure timely posting and proper copy, tags, etc.
  • Coordinate with social and client success teams to ensure OF clients are posting daily on their own social media assets. In cases where they aren’t, work with internal teams to communicate with clients and find solutions
  • Work directly with the client recruitment team to optimize the client boarding process and ensure all clients have personal social media accounts with appropriate links in bios, and that all links work properly. (Clients should be posting daily on these accounts as well)


Reporting:

  • Create and circulate regular analytics and performance reports for the internal teams, Executives, and clients
  • Track and report on client wins, especially clients going viral - ensure internal teams relay news to clients to celebrate successes


Requirements:

  • Must live in San Diego and work onsite three days-a-week in the La Jolla office (T, W, TH)
  • 5+ years experience in digital marketing and social media leadership
  • Mastery of Instagram and Twitter; must have experience developing and implementing influencer/creator content and marketing strategies for IG and Twitter
  • Familiary with OnlyFans; strong understanding of the platform and subscriber growth strategies a plus
  • Comfortable working with and around adult-oriented content and with Content Creators who work in the adult industry
  • Must have experience running creator promos, working with advertisers, and tracking ROI across promos and ad spend
  • Analytical and able to extract data, create reports, present findings, and make decisions based on findings
  • Impeccable communication skills - written and spoken; must be a people-person
  • Extremely capable managing communications across teams and clients
  • Knowledge of successful meme accounts, content creators, influencers, etc.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting - must be able to strategize and execute with minimal oversight on a day-to-day basis
  • Asana experience a plus
  • Team-mentality. Must have a good attitude, maintain professionalism, be kind, and promote an overall healthy and people-first work environment
  • Respond to calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency
  • Function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Work well and calmly under pressure
