Job Description


The Leasing Specialist is responsible for leasing apartments and maintaining a high level of occupancy while providing excellent customer service to residents and prospective residents. The Leasing Specialist role is essential to the success of the property’s occupancy and resident retention. The leasing building is 350 units.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answering customer calls
  • Showing apartments
  • Greeting potential customers
  • Open and inspect clubhouse, models and made ready vacant units daily
  • Maintain curb appeal of the property
  • Greet all prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner
  • Generate interest in the community by touring the property and available apartment homes with prospects
  • Maintain accurate availability and pricing
  • Process prospective resident’s application
  • Email move in information within 24 hours of application being approved
  • Thoroughly inspect apartment home prior to move in and ensure any maintenance concerns are addressed
  • Manage all prospective phone and email leads in a timely manner
  • Use customer service as a guiding principle when interacting with residents and prospective residents
  • Ensure maintenance requests are entered in a timely manner and follow up for resident satisfaction as needed
  • Be familiar with competitor’s amenities, pricing, lease terms and specials by completing the market comparable report
  • Be involved in the planning of property events
  • All other duties as assigned or requested



Compensation:

$15.00/hr to $18.00/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
