PCS is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in transforming our Salesforce org model. You will be responsible for rearchitecting our platform to optimize collaboration across all disciplines supporting brokers and insureds. This is a critical position for driving significant improvements in our ability to serve our clients and achieve our growth objectives.


PCS employs approximately 400 staff members. The company is based in Berkeley Heights, NJ with additional offices in New York, NY, and Schaumburg, IL. PCS has a geographically diverse workforce and supports hybrid and remote business-based flexibility. However, the preferred candidate will reside in the Chicago, New York City, or Tampa area as hybrid work with the IT management team is paramount.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our existing Salesforce org, identifying opportunities for improvement and streamlining processes.
  • Design and implement a future-proof Salesforce architecture that fosters seamless collaboration across Sales, Underwriting, Policy Servicing, Claims, and other departments.
  • Leverage your deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) to build automated workflows and integrations that enhance efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with external consultants and internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand future business needs and translate them into actionable Salesforce solutions.
  • Champion the Salesforce vision internally, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the Salesforce user community to ensure maximum platform adoption and utilization.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry, particularly relevant to personal lines insurance
  • Manage and prioritize multiple system implementations simultaneously, ensuring successful integration with Salesforce.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect with a proven track record of successful implementations in complex environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and core platform features (objects, workflows, automation, etc.).
  • Experience working with external consultants and internal SMEs in a collaborative setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and user adoption.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is a plus.
