About the Company:

Our client, a leading logistics provider, has a strong presence in the transportation industry for over 10 years. They focus on intermodal and drayage. This is a non-asset based 3PL company who works with companies nation wide.

Job description:

  • Looking for a C2G candidate with heavy Intermodal/Drayage experience
  • Will come in and build a book of business. Once built, they will bring in an Ops team so the focus can move to being a pure hunter
  • Build, grow, and maintain relationships with external customers, focusing on securing opportunities with decision makers and account C-suite.
  • Serve as a consultative resource to customers, providing insights on service offerings and market trends.
  • Maintain operational efficiencies for the assigned book of business, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting pre-established sales objectives.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to secure profitable business deals.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively convey the value proposition and address customer needs.
  • Embrace a highly motivated and self-starting approach, leveraging strong relationship-building skills to drive sales success.
  • Uphold a tactfully relentless and disciplined approach to pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Thrive in a dynamic work environment with a "can-do" culture, contributing to the company's overall success.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in 3PL sales.
  • Proven track record of strong negotiation skills and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and build relationships.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Tactful, relentless, and disciplined in pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with the logistics and transportation industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong customer service focus and a commitment to delivering exceptional results
