Cannabis and CBD Packaging Sales Manager


We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the cannabis and CBD packaging market. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in sales leadership, a proven track record of driving team performance, and a deep understanding of the cannabis industry. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and fostering a culture of excellence within the sales team.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set sales goals, forecast sales projections, and establish strategic priorities.
  • Drive the recruitment, training, and development of sales team members, ensuring they have the skills and resources to succeed.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders, leveraging existing networks and fostering new partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, presentations, and forecasts for senior management, providing insights into sales performance and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards governing cannabis packaging sales.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, including managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Deep understanding of the cannabis industry, including knowledge of packaging regulations, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Established relationships within the cannabis industry are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
