Our client, a global manufacturer of consumer and professional grooming products, is looking to fill the role of Regional HR Manager who will lead, and direct all Human Resources practices in the Latin America region while partnering with the Latin America Leaders to optimize and facilitate the business strategy and outcomes. The Regional HR Manager will leverage best practices, build talent, drive collaboration, and support the growth culture throughout the region. This position will be based at the company's Latin America office in Miami, Florida.


Reporting into the Chief People Officer and the President of Latin America, the Regional HR Manager will help the region drive growth through a focus on employee engagement and building a high-performance culture. The Regional HR Manager is also responsible for HR fundamentals including developing, enforcing, and evaluating compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices. The Regional HR Manager will be a member of the Global Human Resources Team and will be responsible for the local execution of Global HR strategies and lead the development of regional HR strategy and practices.


Key Relationships:

  • Reports to the Chief People Officer and President LATAM.
  • As part of the LATAM leadership team, works side by side with the direct reports of the President of LATAM including Regional Director Finance, Regional Marketing leader and Managing Directors in the region.
  • Key member of the CHROs direct leadership team working side by side with the Regional HR Directors (APAC, EMEA, NA), VP Total Rewards, and the Director of Employee Engagement & Development.


Main responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversees Regional HR strategies, tactics and operations that encompass the entire employee lifecycle. Evaluate HR strategies, tactics and operations to ensure alignment with the company's Global Strategy and the Global HR Strategy.
  • Collaborates with Regional leadership to define and support the organizations long-term strategies and goals through talent management and organizational development.
  • Communicates and collaborates with global key stakeholders across Business Units, functions and subsidiaries to determine and address business-related HR issues, needs and requirements.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to the local/country human resource teams and Country Managers; assists with resolution of human resource, compensation, and engagement, concerns, and issues.
  • Researches, develops, and implements competitive compensation, benefits, work-life-effectiveness programs, performance appraisal, employee incentive, diversity & inclusion and other programs aligned with the Global HR strategy.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management-level staff and business leaders.
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
  • Identifies key performance indicators for the organization´s human resource management functions; assesses the organization´s success and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Ensures compliance with employment and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
  • Responsible for creating the regional HR budget and ensuring annual spending is aligned with budget.

Oversees and implements all internal and external communications for the Region, ensuring its message is consistent and engaging.


Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, International Business Management, Organization Development, Psychology.
  • Five plus years of progressive leadership experience in various Human Resources positions at multinational organizations.
  • Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred.
