Job Description:

  • I'd state we have a client in Flowery Branch, GA, that is looking for an experienced Product Manager in their Architectural Lighting division.

Please apply if you have the following skill sets:

  • Product Planning (creating product plans, execution, working with cross functional teams).
  • Coordinating and collaborating with marketing. (creating technical guidance and different sales collateral {packaging design / content creation}).
  • Technical minded person (someone that can assist in creating the technical documentation, shop drawings). This person could be an engineer or have that experience.
  • Marketing experience on top of technical experience (highly preferred).
  • Architectural Linear Product experience (highly preferred).
  • Management or Lead experience (highly preferred).

Essential Job Functions:

  • Translate market trends and strategic insights into long-term product planning to support business plans in terms of growth and profitability.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Architectural Linear specification grade lighting market and products.
  • Participate and lead Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP) events to generate and drive one-to-three-year product roadmaps.
  • Responsible for financials, business case, product lifecycle management and overall portfolio administration.
  • Lead cross-function teams in a matrix environment. Agility to work in an intercontinental environment and drive the best outcome from the team.
  • Accountable for establishing product delivery schedules in coordination with sales, marketing, development, and operations to successfully release new products on time and within budget.
  • Lead product VOC with key stakeholders to assist in identifying new product offering opportunities and working with internal product development resources to determine feasibility and options.
  • Work closely with sales team to develop distribution channels and attend customer internal sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide technical guidance for proper sales enablement functions, assist with packaging design, and proofreading technical content for all customer-facing print and digital marketing collateral.
  • Creating selling tools, defining product features and benefits, differentiators, how to counter objections, applications of use, etc., to support the sales team and manufacturing reps in the field.

Skills and Experience:

  • This position is ideal for an individual who has experience in linear architectural lighting A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
