Job Summary: As the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be a pivotal player in DreamFields Brands' financial leadership, collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board. Your role is instrumental in scaling the financial operations of DreamFields, aligning with the company's growth trajectory and market expansion in the rapidly growing cannabis industry. You will leverage your expertise to enhance and implement strategies for revenue growth, optimize cost structures, and make informed capital expenditure decisions.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine sophisticated financial models supporting decisions on revenue and expenses.
  • Take ownership of the company's comprehensive three-statement financial model.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses for strategic decisions and maximize ROI.
  • Lead financial planning processes, including annual operating plans and rolling forecasts, setting milestones and targets.
  • Monitor and report on performance relative to the plan, offering transparency into financial performance for strategic and operational decisions.
  • Act as a key financial partner to cross-functional teams, fostering relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Utilize systems and processes to optimize financial planning efficiency, focusing on value-add activities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team serving as a talent hub across the organization.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Financial leadership background in a business with revenues exceeding $200M, preferably in rapidly growing, manufacturing-based companies.
  • Proven track record in developing, leading, and managing high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable with hands-on involvement in detailed financial models.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to distill complex data into concise executive summaries.
  • Agile and adaptable, with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication and management skills, adept at dealing with external stakeholders including auditors, investors, and customers.
  • Ability to collaborate and drive team success for the good of the organization.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of VP experience
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, with required leadership experience in FP&A.
  • Experience in the CPG or manufacturing industry, with expertise in both B2B and B2C markets
