Corestaff is the official MSP resourcing partner for Porsche Cars North America for contractor positions operating and managing their nationwide contingent workforce program. This role is a Corestaff contract position with placement at Porsche Cars North America in Atlanta, GA.


Position overview

The Warranty Support Specialist is responsible for ensuring Dealer compliance regarding warranty claim submissions and processing utilizing policy and procedure guidelines. Specialist also will assist with preparation and implementation of warranty consultations. Specialist will work alongside Porsche Cars N.A. (PCNA) and Porsche AG (PAG) Warranty Support to identify trends and support claim and improvement initiatives. The Specialist is responsible for managing inquiries received by the dealers and Field through ticketing tools pertaining to claim processing and policy and procedure clarifications.


Roles & responsibilities

  • Review warranty claims based on trend selection or filtered criteria for payment determination; evaluate component test findings and supporting documentation; escalate claims that require Manager review.
  • Provide support to Dealers and Field through tickets submitted via Porsche ticketing tools.
  • Provide warranty claim review for dealer consultations to support PCNA Warranty in ongoing compliance initiatives.
  • Support various Instructor Led Classroom Virtual and In Classroom Training events virtually and at remote Training Centers.
  • Early recognition of warranty trends to escalate as necessary to Warranty Program Manager.
  • Maintain/update data and publications on warranty quality topics for consistency between PCNA (Audit, Warranty) and dealers.
  • Review warranty policy and procedures with PCNA legal, customer commitment, quality engineering, and technical. Support departments along with PAG for ensuring market specific requirements related to claiming are identified and coordinate necessary policy changes with all stakeholders.
  • Exercise prudent warranty costs payment through claim decision-making based on automotive experience (technical) and compliance of warranty policy.
  • Responsible for the proper usage of, awareness of, and compliance with Information Technology security policies at PCNA.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Warranty Manager and Senior Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration/ Management, or relevant work experience.


Experience:

  • 2 years prior automotive experience, including positions such as Technician, Shop Foreman, Warranty Specialist, Warranty Control Specialist, Warranty Operations Specialist, Warranty Analyst.
