Job Title: Warranty Claims Specialist

At Dobbs Equipment, we are seeking a highly skilled Warranty Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for administering the warranty claim process to maximize administrative efficiency and return on warranty claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement standardized warranty claim processes for all locations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor equipment records for extended and special warranties, ensuring timely expiration notifications and submissions.
  • Manage and process parts and service warranty claims, including computation of charges for shop work at all locations.
  • Collaborate with the Parts Department to ensure seamless warranty administration and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide consultation and training to service managers, technicians, and parts personnel on warranty regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with non-returnable service parts policies and communicate regularly with departmental management on warranty status.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure that customers receive the intended value of the product.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including warranty logs and monthly reconciliation of warranty credits.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree (A.A.) and 3+ years' experience with industrial equipment, such as construction or forestry equipment.
  • PC literate, proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
